The entire project, named Intelligent Traffic Management Solution, covers eight junctions. The junctions included in the project are Ottera Phase 1, BHEL Phase 1, Siemens Phase 1, SBI Phase 1, RS Junction Phase 1, Canara Bank Phase 1, Paramount Phase 1, Wipro Phase 1, and Y-Junction Phase 2. The new traffic system is expected to be rolled out within six months.
After completion of the project by the year 2028-2029, Faridabad will have a total of 56 wells and 220 tube wells, which will help in providing about 700 MLD water to the estimated population of 39.55 lakh. The project costing Rs 3,000 crore has also been approved,” Manohar Lal Khattar added.
Red Light Violation Detection (RLVD) cameras have been installed by the traffic police at major intersections of the city to ease the traffic situation and to prevent red light violation cases in the city.
