Diana will tell from yous snowy washington. Wow. Well tyler, look builders are blaming it all on this. Just like they did last were. Take a look. Homebuilder sentiment slid two points month to month on the monthly nahb survey but at 55 its still in the positive and well above the 46 level it was last year. Last were builders blamed the harsh winter. The slowdown continued into the summer due to the price jumps. Builder prices are still very high with big premiums to existing homes, and that may be why traffic fell dramatically. Down five points while sales expectations were flat and current sales were only slightly lower. Builders still pushed the president s day open houses though. That is the unofficial start to the spring season. Not much action over the weekend, though. Again, builders are still pricing very high and Housing Starts are still well below the current demand. This is going to be a very interesting next few weeks. The real Market Dynamics fight with the urge to blame it
Deport people who are the highest priority to leave this country and make sure there is a system of solutions that recognizes a lot of these folks are living in the shadows. I would urge people to look at the utah compact it is online. The colorado compact. These are basic goals. Im not endorsing one part or not another part of the president s executive order, but the bottom line is, the notion to try and make communities safer, the notion that we will try to keep close families together, that we are going to recognize the Economic Vitality and trying to expand our economy, that is what he is trying to accomplish. He were nodding your head about the filibuster. Democrats are saying, why not fully fund dhs now that the administration is saying that. What is your thought about continuing this fight and only partially funding dhs . This was a question brought up the he might consider asking Senate Democrats to vote on the bill for dhs and give it an up or down vote. And then deal with imm
Operation enduring freedom. We are now past 13 years in that enduring fight and that resolution, of course was also the basis for the justification of our actions in somalia in yemen and the administration is saying quite clearly that they oppose the repeal of that and that the operations that are going on right now to my in fact, are consistent with that 2001 resolution. Now, that causes great problems to me and many members of the community because even in the absence of the passage of a knew aumf the administration is maintaining that they have the authority to continue as they have for 13 years under Operation Enduring freedom. So that obviously is a problem for us because it sits there as an underlying authority for the next president , democrat or republican who is sworn in on january 20 2017. Most of us we will be sitting here then as your successor is sitting here and perhaps not with the same interpretation of the word enduring. So my questions and then go to, is this going to
That i see really being fully attended to by the mta and it is in the past way and the past week, how, the mta has been taking some strange hits because of the new i would say, premium private system that is in place, and there is all of this discussion, like why would you want to be on muni and like it is incredible, of thousands of people ride muni every day and some of us ride it in businesses, and we dont mind you know, it is not a system that needs another level of elite, care, and it is something that we need to on tend to and i appreciate your voice in that effort, and i for one will be supporting you, of course and much of the colleagues have much to add.
