The National Library has done so much for me over the years. I felt that becoming a Patron was a way for me to repay in a very small way, the many benefits I have received over the years.

The Library’s Patrons provide valued support for development, conservation and digitisation of the Library s collections. They may also support specific programs such as fellowships, scholarships and public programs.
You can become a Library Patron by donating $1,000 or more. You can also become a Patron by giving regularly over time.

March is Women’s History Month!: Celebrate by downloading an audiobook or e-book from the featured list of titles “March is Women’s History Month” on Overdrive. From Helen Keller to the “Fly Girls”, there are so many titles to choose from. Do you have questions on how to access digital titles from the Overdrive collection? Black History Month e-collection resources: During each week of Black History month, the library will highlight the variety of resources available from its e-collections celebrating this theme. This week the spotlight is on Black History audiobooks from Hoopla, where residents can download audiobooks for all ages including “King for Kids,” “Reflections by Rosa Parks,” and “American Uprising.” There are no waiting lists on Hoopla. Every title is available for immediate download. Find hoopla on the library s website under “E-Collections.”

From the Libby app: Tap on the Libby icon at the top right of any page to access the “Add A Library” option. Search for and select the library network you wish to add. On the network’s main page, scroll down to the section that says, “Let’s add a library card for [network name].” Tap on the “I’m Visiting from Another Library” link and select MVLC Library Patrons from the list of networks. Sign in as an MVLC Library Patron using the barcode on your library card.
