On Sunday, May 23 at 3 p.m., enjoy the premiere of another performance in the Weston Library’s popular virtual concert series from the comfort of your home!
Pianist Minkyung Oh will present Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata and two of Frederic Chopin’s Ballades, along with more modern pieces by Howard Frazin and Keeril Makan.
Minkyung earned degrees from New England Conservatory, graduating with distinction in performance, followed by a post-graduate diploma from the Royal Academy of Music in London and a doctor of musical arts from Boston University.
She is a member of the piano faculty at The Rivers School Conservatory and the Altschuler Summer Music Institute, and is the director of Boston Piano Ensemble and Weston Al Fresco Concert Series.

The Weston Library s Music Committee continues its 2020-21 virtual season with a performance featuring 16-year-old pianist Natalie Zhang on Sunday, April 11 at 3 p.m.
Zhang is an award-winning musician studying at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School and will be presenting a program of solo piano works of Scriabin, Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Liszt and Bach.
The one-hour performance will be aired on Sunday, April 11 at 3 p.m. on Weston Library’s Facebook, YouTube and Instagram platforms, as well as by the Weston Media Center’s Video On Demand service.
For audience members unable to access the internet, the Weston Media Center will also broadcast the concert on Verizon channel 45 and Comcast channel 9.

The Weston Library s Music Committee continues its 2020-21 virtual season with a performance from oboist Joel Bard and pianist Sayuri Miyamoto on Sunday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m., presenting a musically diverse program titled “Bach, Britten, Beach, and Birds. It will include works for oboe/English horn and piano by J.S. Bach, Jean-Philippe Rameau, Robert Schumann, Louis-Claude Daquin, Camille Saint-Saëns, Amy Beach and Benjamin Britten.
