My opening question is how this project came about and why. Well, it came about out of the decision that we need to preserve and tell the story of americas founding. And not just as a series of events, but as people who actually achieved it, who thought up these soaring ideals of equality and liberty and selfgovernment and then how that really spread and inspired a nation, people in our nation to achieve it. It is the most important event in our nations history. It not only gave birth to our nation, but it really gave us the values that make us a people. Everything that we cherish and hold dear. So its more than just artifacts . Oh, its far more than artifacts. Our museum is founded on artifacts.
