Reporter dan, ama, police still have cesar chavez here shut down in front of the hospital and the hospital is at least still partially on lockdown but ive been able to speak with people who have since been released from the building. They described for me what they heard, gunshots, loud bangs. Some say it sounded like explosions. But heres what we now know happened from the police department. This all started in san bruno, where police say the gunman robbed a big 5 Sporting Goods store and stole a rifle and some ammunition. And then at about 4 30 he somehow got into the Hospital Construction site with both the handgun he used in the robbery and the rifle.
