Pelley good evening. This is our western edition. After the massive traffic jams that shut down highways, atlanta is starting down the road to recovery. Today, drivers began retrieving the vehicles theyd abandoned on the side of icy, jampacked roads. The governor took the heat for failing to prepare for the minor snow and ice storm that crippled the city. We have two reports from atlanta tonight. First mark strassman. Mark. And businesses rem reporter scott, major roads are open again but most schools and businesses remain closed. Two days after two inches of snow and ice paralyzed the city, georgias governor admitted he blew it. Abandoned their cars during atlantas storm reclaimed them today. Other georgians went looking for answers. Who is really to blame is the question. Reporter callers on atlanta talk radio faulted city and state leaders for not being prepared.
