Additionally, the company reported a 14% year-on-year increase in profit after tax to ₹1,345 crore for the fiscal year. Although the filings did not provide specific reasons for the increase in sales and net profit, LG s home appliances segment, including refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and televisions, contributed bulk of the sales for the year. In contrast, rival Samsung India s home appliance business sales in FY23 amounted to ₹11,844 crore.
