Back by popular demand, the Lewes Public Library s annual Loopin’ for the Library bicycling event is going virtual for the month of June.
This self-paced bike ride is a great opportunity to work out, and it benefits a good cause.
Participation is simple. Between Tuesday, June 1 and Wednesday, June 30, participants ride a total of 20 miles. They can ride 20 miles all at once or break it down into smaller rides that total 20 miles. Rides can be completed outdoors or even indoors on a stationary bike. Registration fees benefit the library. A new feature this year is the option to form teams. Family, friends, neighbors or co-workers can join forces to make a team, or people can join an existing team. The team captain who recruits the most members will win a $250 gift certificate donated by Lewes Cycle Sports.
