The 3,000 tenants that we serve, we need to make sure those units are efficient and quality Affordable Housing. And so we are embarking on that project but also we are an Affordable Housing developer. So at the moment we are working on our proposal for 1950 mission street, a new 100 percent Affordable Housing development that is near the 16th street bart station. Were also researching sites down near 24th street in the Lower Mission to purchase and develop what are relatively smaller sites but nonetheless are just as important in these days of gentrification and displacement in the mission. And so what i see as Mission Housings role is that we will utilize our portfolio, our vast and very large, relatively speaking, portfolio to create and obtain the necessary funds and capacity which we will put towards new development because its about boat, its about making sure we have enough Affordable Housing and creating new, but also ensuring that that which we have is never ever lost. Can you

Riders, we work to improve Public Transportation in San Francisco. I also volunteer with walk sf, creating projects to bring forth project vision zero. I have lived in San Francisco since 2008. I first moved here looking for a city that had a robust Public Transportation system, since i came from metro detroit, where we really dont be have one, so for a year i relid on muni because i was terrified of even riding a bike in a parking lot, but slowly i realized biking is a great way to get around in San Francisco. I had some good allies that taught me how to ride in the streets and now its half of my main mode of transportation. So i feel that on the bac i could really serve as an advocate for multi modal transportation. I first heard about the seat opening on the bac through the Bicycle Coalition news letter and it piqued my interest but when i talked to someone on the committee who informed me there are only men currently on the committee i knew i had to change that by applying. So not

Around 7,000 latino families being displaced. Where does Mission Housing fit in with that. One, our portfolio, making sure our units are open and affordable for those who qualify. Second is looking for the small sites i mentioned. Its very rfp and funds to develop a new large Housing Project at 1950 mission. However, as we look at the current situation, that isnt enough and mission is trying to put its capacity and its resources towards establishing new ways to develop Affordable Housing, perhaps grouping together a few small sites and creating the economy of scale thats necessary to develop the housing. Were also talking with our community, those 3,000 tenants, as much as possible to get their viewpoint to see what they are focused on and what they are worried about because we are a trustee for those units and we are a trustee for those people and i would like there to be 6,000 tenants as soon as possible. 3,000 is great and its been an awesome 4 1 2 decades, but were focused on the n

Presentation that chris made. First of all, i have a question about whether it really is work putting in so much pesticide into the natural areas. And the fact is that i dont think that the numbers that weve showed on that graph for Pesticide Use are accurate. Going back to what i said in the database, just off the top of my head, there were two months of data missing in 2010. There was at least one month of data missing in 2013. There were three or four different reports that didnt get included in 2012. So, i think the database is working to its greater accuracy. I dont know if its there yet. Certainly at the little subset i looked at which was natural areas, its still not right. So, i cant speak to what happened before 2008 and 2009. Thats the earliest information that ive got. But certainly in the last few years the Natural Areas Program has been using a lot of pesticide and i understand why. Their job cannot be done without it. The question is, is that job worth doing . Is it worth

Start promoting green gas. So, the replacing the 100 renewable in our plan is going to be difficult. Now, there are some things that we can do around the edges. One of the slices there is bart 100 renewable by 2030. We can get them to go green, thats great. We have another 11 of the electricity that are direct Access Commercial customers where they could decide as businesses that the right thing for them to do is to go 100 green. So, if we can convince them, and that would be a voluntary activity on their part, that we might be able to reach another piece of the market. The question is how are we going to get to the rest of it. And thats a challenge thats been discussed at this commission and i know will be discussed in the future. So, im not going to go through each one of these parts. I will point out that urban forest is the light blue wedge at the top. Be great to see that expanded, or expanding any of these wedges. Some of them are under influence from the department of the enviro
