On February 5, the Goodrich s two-year-old daughter Charli, suffered a collapsed lung which prompted an emergency helicopter flight from Kingaroy Hospital to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH). Charli s mum Letisha Goodrich said in the week leading up to the hospital trip, there were no major warning signs and Charli was given the all clear after multiple visits to the doctor. Charli s health continued to deteriorate on the first night at SCUH and we learned she also had respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and pneumonia, Mrs Goodrich said.

February 5 is a day etched into the minds of the Goodrich family after two-year-old Charliâs lung collapsed.
The toddler had been to the hospital multiple times that week, getting the âall-clearâ from doctors.
With no major warning signs the totâs health deteriorated quickly and Charli was flown from Kingaroy Hospital to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
Mum Letisha Goodrich said Charliâs health continued to deteriorate on her first night in hospital.
âWe learned she also had respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and pneumonia,â Mrs Goodrich said.
Charli was put on life-support as her body started âshutting downâ.
