Eureka plans for waterfront expansion, sea-level rise

The Eureka city council talked Tuesday on the updated plan for Eureka’s waterfront area. With a potential of creating over 1,000 jobs and over 1,000 housing units in the part of Eureka that includes Old Town and the commercial bayfront, this project looks to infill the area for redevelopment. The city hopes this plan will bring more housing units to the area and revitalize Eureka.
