The city of Eureka is projected to see a relatively balanced budget in the next fiscal year despite a $1.1 million deficit, according to a council report on Tuesday.
At a Eureka City Council meeting Wednesday, an ordinance was unanimously passed that creates guidelines on how EPD acquires and reports the use of military equipment.
