The Delhi High Court (DHC) has passed an order barring Amazon India from selling an identical product that infringes Hamdard's trademark, "Rooh Afza", including the one manufactured in Pakistan.
The high court's order came while deciding the trademark infringement suit filed by Hamdard National Foundation (India) and Hamdard Dawakhana, which is also trading as Hamdard Laboratories India, against Amazon Seller Services Pvt Ltd and Golden Leaf
The Delhi High Court on Friday granted relief to Hamdard National Foundation (India), the manufacturer of Rooh Afza and restrained Amazon from listing any product which infringes Hamdard's trademark ‘ROOHAFZA' .
