Starting Thursday, all Californians ages 16 and older will be eligible for a coronavirus vaccine and there are several ways you can prepare, according to Bay Area vaccine-hunting experts.
First things first: Don’t get discouraged.
The searching process can be disappointing given how quickly appointments are snatched, and you might not find a slot on your first try but experts encourage people to keep trying.
“If you start to feel discouraged or you’re not able to access an appointment reach out for help,” said Lee Nevo Lamprey, a vaccine hunter for the Facebook group Bay Area Vaccine Hunters and founder of the It’s My Shot website, where she shares tips.
