Subscriber only A Coast woman was brought to the attention of police after her lost purse, containing $800 and cocaine was handed in, a court has heard. Carni Raechell Muir s wallet was handed into the Maroochydore Police Station by a member of the public, who found it on Gardak Street on November 23. Police prosecutor Lee Allan told Maroochydore Magistrates Court that police arranged for Muir to attend the station after the contents were revealed. The purse contained $750.25, personal cards, bank cards, and a driver s licence with the name of the defendant, Senior Constable Allan said. Also contained in the purse was a small clip seal bag containing a small amount of white powder and seven smaller clip seal bags containing white powder residue.

The 18 year old also failed to comply with bail given to him on November 12.
“He failed to report on the 13th, 16th, 20th, 23rd, 27th, 30th of November and the 4th and 7th of December,” Sen Constable Allan said.
Heinemann pleaded guilty via video on Friday to eight counts of breaching bail, one of driving without a license, offences involving registration certificates and stealing.
Sen Constable Allan told the court the Meridan Plains resident was arrested outside the Maroochydore Courthouse in relation to the matters on Thursday, December 10 after he was fined a total of $1200 and disqualified from driving for six months.

Subscriber only A Coast woman who promised puppies to hopeful Gumtree customers has been sentenced after her scheme unravelled. Natalie Maree Speed told police she never intended to sell the Cavoodle puppies she advertised online in 2019. Police prosecutor Lee Allan told the court two of the three victims responded to an advertisement selling the puppies and later handed over $500 deposits to the fraudster. On the fourth day of September the victim replied to a Gumtree post involving cavoodle puppies for sale, the advertised price of $1050, he said. With arrangements the victim attended an address at Bells Creek with her young son and met the defendant and her partner and viewed the puppies, the victim chose a black male.
