Officials: Mosquito sample collected in Lebanon County tests positive for West Nile Virus Matthew Toth, Lebanon Daily News Mosquito season: How to identify symptoms of West Nile Virus Replay Video UP NEXT The first mosquito sample of 2021 to test positive for West Nile Virus was collected in North Londonderry township, officials reported Friday afternoon.  The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Vector Management said the positive sample containing Culex mosquitoes was collected by the Lebanon County Mosquito-borne Disease Control program on May 21 in the township.  Additional mosquito surveillance, sampling and larval control is being performed as necessary by the Mosquito Surveillance Program and the state Department of Environmental Protection, officials said in a press release.
