Philadelphia yesterday. Police say he realized the car might have been involved after watching a news report. Police questioned him and his girlfriend and let them go. Police are now looking for a 19yearold relative of hers who they believe was behind the wheel at the time. The driver took off after hitting rivera and her twoyearold son david alycia. He died yesterday morning. She was released from the hospital and returned to her grandparents home yesterday. The accident happened right in front of the home. The sidewalk there is now the scene of a growing memorial for david. Police are still looking for the driver of this car and say the owner and his girlfriend are cooperating. Theyre devastated and upset but theyre cooperating and being very helpful in the investigation. Reporter the police have gotten a search warrant for that car. Away in williamsport pennsylvania and its owner hand delivered it today. And were certain we have the vehicle, were certain. Theres no doubt that we have the right vehicle. Reporter this 2006 infiniti showed up at a Police Station in West Philadelphia with its owner this morning. He had been in philadelphia with his girlfriend visiting relatives last weekend. The owner says he loaned the car to one of her relatives and thats who was driving it at the time of the accident. The owner and his girlfriend went back to williamsport monday night. Police say they returned to philadelphia yesterday and realized their car may have been involved after watching a news report. Police say until then, they didnt notice a small piece of headlight lens was missing. Fortunately when we recovered the car the piece of the headlight that fell off fit perfectly into the car. A 32yearold man is now dead after an apparent case of road rage. Were told he collapsed here outside of his own home. Right here behind us. Police say it all unfolded just before 9 00 p. M. Along north fifth street. The victim was out here blocking traffic while arguing with his exfwoi exgirlfriend when the suspect opened fire. He shot the victim in the head and chest. His body remains on the scene tonight and the shooter took off. Our shooting victim was on foot just blocking traffic while arguing with his girlfriend causing people to back up in traffic, not be able to drive around him.
