We begin with a developing story out of afghanistan, where the taliban is attacking an american base along the pakistan border. We are told the fighting is going on at this moment. This is the same base that was attacked by the taliban in september. Joining us now is douglas oliver, a Senior Security fellow at the north american foundation. He served as an army officer in afghanistan. I believe you have been to the base. Tell us about it. The base that we are talking about is an american farm, 500m back from the afghan, pakistani border. The pakistanis call it the khyber pass, an historic base.
