many things including bribery, corrupting our electoral process, extorting a foreign country using federally appropriated dollars. there s a lot that could go into that. the question is whether you break out into a separate article, bribery, separate from that broader abuse of power. then you have contempt, obstruction of congress and that is where many things could also go into because so much has been obstructed under this administration, many different investigations, including ukraine, including russia. the biggest question and the biggest unknown and the most shaky is that obstruction of justice including anything related to anything but ukraine. so you have people who do want to roll in the mueller obstruction of justice. you have others, you have leadership urging everyone to keep their eye on the ball and to know that you really have to sell this in a very coherent, clean way to the american people. do you really want to fold that in.
private. wow. garrett has more. what are you hearing? between morning. it s interesting he said no at every turn, but that hasn t stopped the growing chorus from gop leadership urging paul ryan to run for house speaker. both former frontrunner kevin mccarthy and house majority whip steven scolise has said ryan is the one for the job and even chaffetz says he would bow out if he joined. he s the only person with the level of credibility and respect to unify the party and fix many of the problems in congress. after meeting with paul ryan yesterday, congressman darrell issa said ryan is now considering the idea. i believe he s going home this weekend to soul search with his family about whether or not he can in fact accept this job, a job he doesn t want. he isn t seeking. but it s seeking him. paul ryan will spend the weekend back home in janesville,
