Líderes da OTAN se reúnem na Bélgica Os líderes da Aliança Militar do Ocidente se reuniram nesta segunda-feira (14) em Bruxelas, na Bélgica, para discutir as principais ameaças ao mundo democrático, entre elas, as campanhas de desinformação. Foi a primeira reunião presencial da Otan desde o começo da pandemia. Não houve tanto toque, mas teve mais afago do que nos anos Trump. O ex-presidente americano tinha chamado a Aliança Militar do Ocidente de “obsoleta” e criticado a falta de investimento dos aliados em defesa. O novo presidente americano exaltou o terço cheio do copo. Joe Biden destacou que pelo menos dez dos 30 aliados já reservam 2% do orçamento para gastos militares, a meta da Otan. Ele relaxou meio mundo ao dizer que a defesa mútua é sagrada.
