safety. this is a letter that goes into troubling detail about what that whistle-blower has been threatened with, the leadoff has the president s own wards. president trump told a room full of people, whoever provided the whistle-blower with information about his call was in the president s words close to a spy. and then the lawyer discloses what they ve learned. certain individuals have issued a $50,000 bounty for any information relating to their clients identity. they continue to say, we expect this condition to worsen and become even more dangerous for our client and any other whistle blowers. those lawyers have disputed a recent report. that the whistle blower is under federal protection, this letter does allude to some help they ve gotten from the director of national intelligence s office. they put it this way saying, we appreciate your office s support
you have to be at 3% in four polls or 5% in two polls in the leadoff states. and yes by the way, you need to have 165,000 donors. so this is for november and beyond. just to give you a sense of what that might look like, the polls so far that have come out, biden, warren, sanders, harris, buttigieg, they have hit all those thresholds in the polls right now that are part of that criteria. more to come, but right now there are five who look like they will be on course to qualify for that new criteria. once you get beyond that, booker, o rourke, yang, unclear if they can meet those thresholds. so we ll go from 10 to 11 or 12 in the next debate, but then because of what the dnc announced today, you could be down to single digits on that debate stage starting in november. new dnc rules announced today. coming up, we ll go live to des

all kinds of concerns. but the bottom line is that iowa has that a leadoff role and new hampshire second. and both existed because they claimed something different. iowa always kamd kramd to be a caucus and new hampshire a braer. and they existwood this other. the pressure from the dnc to make the caucuses democratic. the risk for iowa if you make it democratic it s a primary. and new hampshire has a state law that allows it to move ahead. it s a delicate balance they are trying to pull off. i m asking my executive producer. the dnc just said something about this. the iowa dnc said the plan will not go forward. so there it is. the iowa democratic party is going to right. my dad was in town last week and a big fan of yours and said why does iowa matter so much? why does so much energy go into iowa? is it just that it s the first or is it differently influential than other primaries and
