Can I be straight with you? I ve always dreamed of the booming announcer calling my name to play this iconic game. Who didn t love staying home from school to watch the Price is Right? Well, for one Iowa woman back in the 80s this dream became a reality.

Debra DeYoung, a nursing student from Le Mars, Iowa had her name called to play a few rounds on the iconic game show. She speeds through the first round where she bids $650 on a dishwasher beating out the other competitors.
DeYoung competes on the show in 1982 when Bob Barker ran the whole operation.
