A moped rider was a moped rider was killed in a crash this morning, after running a red light. This happened near flamingo and valley view just after five. Metro says a mazda crashed into the moped while making a left turn. Was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to umc where he later died. Metro says the mazda driver did not see the moped until it was too late, and is struggling emotionally after the crash.
