Snowpiercer is based on the 2013 film from
Parasite director Bong Joon-ho as well as the French graphic novel series
Le Transperceneige. The series takes place in a post-apocalypse future after the planet has been devastated and what is left of humanity is placed on a large train that never stops travelling around the world. It ultimately leads to class warfare and revolution as people further up the train are treated better than those toward the back.
