Coming off a twenty point win over county rival McClain on Tuesday night, the Hillsboro Indians continued their week of hugely important games by hosting the once-beaten Jackson Ironmen.
The first meeting between the top two teams in the FAC took place six weeks ago - with Jackson upending HHS 65 53. However, in meeting number two, a highly-motivated Hillsboro took care of business and defeated the Ironmen 73 64.
From the beginning, it was apparent that nothing was going to be easy for the Indians. Despite a quick start, Hillsboro went cold for most of the first quarter and wound up trailing at the end of the period 23 13. In fact, over the course of the opening frame and into the second stanza the Ironmen went on a 25 8 run.
