If the 48 year old law professor is indeed nominated and confirmed, her lifetime appointment would consolidate a conservative majority in the countrys top court, possibly for decades to come. This is the scene at the white house where the president will make the announcement. Reporter well, as a practical matter, more than 30 are headed up but if you look at the states seeing the biggest increase in the sevenday average, what you do see is a greater propensity for that as you move into the more northern states.
