theGRIO reported. Noel will play Dan Freeman in the series, the only Black CIA operative in government. Freeman is described as, “a patriot, a Vietnam vet, and secretly, a Black Revolutionary.”
The series is said to highlight “structural racism in the U.S.” Jackson will serve as showrunner on the series and will executive produce with Daniels, McMurray, and
Marc Velez. This is not the first adaptation of Sam Greenlee‘s 1969 novel. The book was adapted into a feature film back in 1973 with

Grandparents who get advice more likely to plan for family’s future

Close to half of grandparents have no concrete plan to provide for their children and grandchildren financially according to a Salam survey.
This is despite nearly nine in ten considering it important among people with investible assets in excess of £50,000.
A key finding is the rate of those with plans for their grandchildren is much higher among those who receive financial advice.
The survey conducted by Technical Connection and Ad Lucem on behalf on Sanlam found that 38% have no financial plan in place to provide for younger generations, while 7% were “not sure”.

A bill aimed at expanding the definition for domestic violence in Connecticut has been combined with another proposal and is headed to the full state Senate but without the names of the two women who advocates say inspired it.
The bill was first introduced as Senate Bill 1060, or Jennifer’s Law, after Jennifer Dulos, the New Canaan mother who vanished in May 2019 and whose estranged husband was charged in her death and disappearance.
However, the bill, which was introduced by state Sen. Alex Kasser, D-Greenwich, was seen as too narrow in scope, state lawmakers have said.
