Brenda Kay Young was born January 24, 1953 to LC Sharp and Para Sharp. She was reunited with her Savior on Thursday, February 18, 2021, the same day her mother passed. She graduated from Central High School and attended Angelo State University.
She married the love of her life, Burk Young, and they celebrated 46 years of marriage in 2020. Kay ran Allen Young Office Machines for many years with her husband. Together they had 2 beautiful daughters; Robin Young Tijerina and Heather Young.
Kay was a very caring, giving and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter. Her passion was her family and she selflessly gave her time and love to her family and friends. She celebrated every person on every occasion with love and kindness. It was in her heart to instill love and faith, and she taught us all to celebrate and cherish one another every day. Kay’s joy were her grandchildren, who affectionately called her “MaK.” Nothing could bring a smile

Kenneth Clark Connell,93, of San Angelo, veteran and engineer, was called home on Feb 16, 2021.
Connell was born on November 8, 1927, in Crowell, Texas. He enlisted in February 1946 and served the U.S. Army Air Forces and Coast Guard as a member of the 237th Medical Dispensary. He was the recipient of the World War II Victory Medal and Army of Occupation Medal Japan.
After his tour of duty, Connell started his career with GTE (Verizon). He worked for the company until 1987, earning the title of senior engineer.
Connell is preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Cope Connell; son, Ricky Connell; stepson, Dennis Cope; and stepson, Clayton Cope and wife Starla. He is survived by his daughter, Paula Connell Parker and husband Todd; stepson, Clifford Cope and wife Edwina; stepdaughter and caregiver, Karen Cope Capps; stepson, Kylan Cope and wife Deena; stepson, Cody Cope; stepson, Kirby Cope and wife Christy; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, a

Helen Butts Stasey departed from this life and went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 13, 2021. She lived out her Christian faith all her life.
Helen was from February 9, 1933 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Jim and Pearl Henderson. She married Gene Butts her highschool sweetheart on April 28, 1951 in San Angelo, Texas. They were married for 32 years. Gene proceeded her in death on October 30, 1983. Helen married Pat Stasey on February 29, 1991. Pat proceeded her in death in March of 2005.
Also preceding her in death was her twin sons, Lloyd and Floyd, who died in 1951 and her great granddaughter, Taylor Kucel, who died on June 16, 1995.
