Johar Town blast: Foreign hostile agencies involved, all suspects held, says Buzdar

June 29, 2021 LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has said foreign hostile agencies are involved in the Johar Town blast while the Counterterrorism Department has arrested all local and international characters who were behind the Johar Town blast within four days of the incident. The chief minister appreciated the performance of the CTD Punjab for pursuing the case in a professional manner. Terming it a great achievement for the Punjab government, the chief minister said all those involved in the incident have been arrested. PHOTO: ONLINE LAHORE: The provincial government passed, with majority votes, its budget of Rs2.65 trillion for the next financial year 2021-22 in the Punjab Assembly. Provincial Finance Minister Hashim Jawan Bakht moved the Punjab Finance Bill 2021 which later the government passed with the majority votes. Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar was also present in the house. As the House proceedings started, the PML-N’s lawmaker Toufeeq Butt, on point of order, wished to express his concerns.
