The fire in west london, which killed 80 people, raised serious questions about about the fire safety of high rise buildings and led to the widespread testing of cladding, like that used on Grenfell Tower, on other buildings across the country. Also in the past few minutes it has been confirmed that 82 buildings have failed those new fire tests for cladding. That includes these in salford. 47 of them are in local Authority Control run by housing associations.
