(WKBT) La Crosse’s Downtown Mainstreet Inc. announced Tuesday that Laurie Cafe will join the team, working alongside new executive director Terry Bauer as director. “Since moving back to the area, I’ve seen the growth and plans for our city and it excites me!” said Cafe. “To work together with Terry, sharing the services DMI offers to it’s members as well as promoting all that is happening downtown will make each day interesting!” Cafe, originally from Holmen, has 20 years of experience in the private and public center, which she gained through a career in large event venue management.
