WHITE HALL Gregory Farm in White Hall will host the 2021 Draft Horse Field Day starting at 9 a.m. Saturday.
This is the first time in 16 years the Percheron Horse Association of America has held the event in White Hall.
The free event is being held in conjunction wit the 200th anniversary of the Esarey family’s history. The farm was established in 1821 by Col. Charles Gregory. It operated as a breeding operation for Percheron for many years.
Gregory Farm was the home of Carnot 66666 (66666), chief herd sire of the premier Percheron breeding operations of W.S. and Eugenia “Genie” (Gregory) Corsa, in the early 1900s.
