KIND-hearted school pupils in Kilmacolm ran for miles to show their support for a children s charity close to their hearts. St Columba s senior school all put on their running shoes in aid of Children in Poverty Inverclyde. Charity champions Zander Davies and Cara Bruce organised the 5k for St Columba s Day event with the hope of raising around £1,000 for the cause. Children in Poverty Inverclyde send needy children on holiday with their families as well as helping with other appeals as well. Sixth year pupil Zander said: I think it is a charity which is very important to us all and we support it a lot.
