To mark International women’s day this week, I wanted to share with you a recent human rights decision that will help working mothers across Ontario.

Sathiyamoorthy Kovintharajah, a father of 3, moved to Canada from Sri Lanka and started his first job here in 2010 at Paragon Linen and Laundry Services Inc., where he operated a large commercial laundry machine. He worked an 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. shift for 6 years until his wife entered the workforce in 2016, working an evening shift.
