Julie D. Holder, 60, of Fort Dodge, a longtime resident of Deer Creek ApartÂments, passed away on MonÂday, May 3, 2021 in Fort Dodge.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 7th at 11:00 AM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. The services will be livestreamed from the Laufersweiler Funeral Home Facebook page.
Survivors include her dad John Holder of Fort Dodge, brothers Jay, David, and Joel Holder all of Fort Dodge, cousins Joyce Edwards and Danny Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her mother JoAnn Holder in 2013, and her grandmother Ruth Frank.

Mavis J. Van Alstine, 85, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at the Marian Home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at Saint Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Kendall Myer officiating. Entombment will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Archie Wayne Peterson, 86, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, 10:30 a.m. May 10, 2021, at Grace Lutheran Church Pastor Dan Kahl officiating. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery with military rites presented. Visitation will be held 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2021, at Laufersweiler Funeral Home.
Archie Wayne Peterson was born on the family farm northwest of Burnside, Iowa, during a bad snowstorm on December 5, 1934. He was the youngest of 3 children, born to Leroy and Lillie Peterson. He was taken to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Dodge, where he was immediately baptized.
He went to Sunday School and church at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Burnside with his family. He attended Burnside Consolidated School and graduated high school there on May 9, 1952. William “Bill” Byrne, 83, of Moorland, passed away on WedÂnesÂday April 28, 2021 at the Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday May 3rd at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Moorland, with Msgr. Kevin McCoy and Fr. Brian Feller concelebrating.
