sizes. this is normal for campaigns. they say a crowd is bigger than the fire marshall will say. donald trump goes on stage, claims the press are a bunch of liars and you have people in that crowd who turn around and boo aggressively at the press. they come up to you afterwards and they say, don t lie about things. he is building an idea that the press is out to manipulate things and press is out to be dishonest and lead the american public astray. so when he says, i want this debate to be two hours instead of three and i want to be able to present myself, he s saying i am so powerful i can change the way things work. katy tur, thanks so much. the democratic race, fresh off well-received debate performa e performance, hillary clinton hit the trail in texas rallying latino support declaring her commitment to comprehensive immigration reform on day one of a clinton white house. clearly, i would start working on that from the very beginning of my presidency.
what karen had to say. we work with families like karen s every single day. put this in perspective. some members of our military deploy for the first time when their children were born. their children are now going to high school. that s how long our country has been at war. these families only know war, they only know repeated deployments. the sacrifices they have made are unimaginable for the rest of the population. we continue to go to war and the civilian population lives life largely uninterrupted. and it s outraging when presidential candidates don t address how they ll reform the v.a. a year ago, we talked about our commitment to our overseas troops and the v.a. collapsed in scandal. and a year later, presidential candidates don t want to touch that. if you support the troops and care about these families, policies are necessary to do that. it can t be just talk and rhetoric. i ll speak for the two of us in asking about your life. it s been a blessing for folks like us to g
that al qaeda is planning a comeback in afghanistan. some of that is politically motivated. how concerned are you that that is a reality. i think it is a reality. don t forget we ve been trying to talk to the taliban for some time and on and off have had some discussions on the prefry. so has karzai. at the end of the day, karzai is really the president of kabul and nut much else. when we leave, which we re doing in any case, the outlying provinces are going to be in trouble. it s going to be a mess. it s fractured country and it s going to be a mess. where do you come down on this? i m a long standing military guy. either do it completely or you don t do it. it would require 200,000 troops over a long period of time to secure that area long enough for

[ male announcer ] along with support, chantix (varenicline) is proven to help people quit smoking. it reduces the urge to smoke. chantix didn t have nicotine in it, and that was important to me. legislation, i thought we declared all that to be unconstitutional, illegal. a lot of people are having a hard time dealing with change, so, i think forcing people to confront the fact that that is bigotry is important but i think we need to realize, not everybody reached this point. look how fast the lgbt movement moved. there are people still left behind that don t get the change. they are still adjusting to it and they have to adjust to it. the culture wars are over. i think a lot of people haven t figured that out yet. you have a few shows under your belt. what might people expect to happen? we are trying to do a lot of things. one of the challenges we have given ourselves is to have a two-way conversation with the audience. it s not that easy to do. there s the traditional mean of tv and cable news. then you have another world out there, the social media world. you have to incorporate that. we are trying to find ways to do that in a way that is organic, not just asking a quest
