The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has found during a probe that the Lashkar-e-Mustafa terrorist outfit was formed by Pakistani s ISI to divert the international pressure and to take responsibility of the Pulwama Attack.

NIA takes over probe of arrested terrorist who was planning major attack in Jammu city ANI | Updated: Mar 03, 2021 10:23 IST
New Delhi [India], March 3 (ANI): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken over the investigation of the case of Hidayatullah Malik, chief of Lashkar-e-Mustafa terror organisation, who was planning a major attack in Jammu city.
He was arrested on February 6.
The NIA on Tuesday registered a case relating to the conspiracy by frontal running terror organization Lashkar-e-Mustafa working at the behest of proscribed terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed to carry out terrorist activities in the Jammu area with the aim of threatening the sovereignty, integrity and security of India.
JAMMU: A 25-year-old Bihar resident was arrested for his alleged links with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir and was brought here on transit remand for questioning on Saturday, police said.
Javaid Alam Ansari s name surfaced during questioning of Lashkar-e-Mustafa (LeM) chief Hidayatullah Malik and he was arrested from his house at Deobahuara village in Chapra on Monday night, a police official said.
Malik, a resident of Shopian, was arrested from the Kunjwani area of Jammu on February 6. He had formed LeM, an offshoot of Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad terror outfit, in August last year.
Ansari was arrested from his house on Monday night by the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), Patna after it came to light that he had links with Malik and had supplied pistols to him, the official said.
