Democratic caucus handily beating Hillary Clinton. Colorado gop leaders passed on having a winner picked. Bernie sanders focused on colorado and it paid off with 59 of the vote to Hillary Clintons 40 . Not all that unlike eight years ago when clinton lost here by a made margin to then senator barack obama. The democrats had delegates at stake in our state and supporters turned out across the front range in droves to make their voices heard from caucus locations in denver to lakewood, evergreen and fort collins.
