In one fell swoop April 11 the Bella Vista Planning Commission not only paved the way for a new training tower for the city's Fire Department, but also more space for its animal shelter.
An update to include eleven cases where pistols were fired in defense against bears. These cases are not included in the statistics because other items were used against the bear in the incident.
