The victim tells police shes walking towards south on carting street through the Cobbs Creek Golf Club about 3 30 saturday morning. On the way she tells police she passes by a hispanic male on the other side of the street walking in the other direction. All of a sudden she says the male changes direction, walks behind her and grabs the woman, dragging her into the golf course behind a tree line where she is then sexually assaulted. Upgraded securitywise a couple weeks ago because of a separate incident but right now, no changes to security are being made on the base. Of course they do say the safety of the families on the base and everyone who works here is their number one priority. They are aware of the situation in tennessee. We also have been chatting with a few people who live near this community. This is a very heavily military community. We did just drop into a barbershop. A number of cadets and others were getting haircuts there. They are just becoming aware of this situation. Obviously very upsetting because it appears at this point the suspect was specifically targeting military installations.
