Brad Matushak, age 75 died Thursday December 7, 2023, up North in Wisconsin, a place he loved. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Victor, daughter Alison Broms (Jeff Ongstad), sidekick Milo the Basset Hound, stepmom Laraine Matushak, In-laws Kathy Matushak, Steve and Bonnie Heller, Kenny & Janice Fisher, nephews and nieces Chad (Kristi) Matushak, Jay (Erin) Matushak, Naomi (Shawn) Heller, Jamon (Becca) Heller, Noah Heller. Preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Phyllis Matushak and his brother Steve, whom he had a close, connected relationship throughout their lifetimes.

Stephen J. Matushak, 74, of Solon Springs and formerly of Superior died peacefully on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, surrounded by his family after a long struggle with Atypical Parkinsonism.
Steve was born in Superior on Dec. 1, 1946 the son of Raymond and Phyllis (Bradshaw) Matushak.
He graduated from Superior Central High School with the class of 1964. He married Kathleen Niemi on Oct. 10, 1970 and they recently celebrated 50 years of marriage.
He served his country during Vietnam in the Army’s 25th Infantry.
Steve retired as President and CEO of Holden Insurance Agency.
Steve had a lot of energy and passions. He loved his family, friends, Holden’s, hunting, fishing, golf, traveling especially if it involved elk and watching his grandchildren do anything from gymnastics to hockey. He had a great sense of humor. It was especially enjoyable when one had the opportunity to listen to a conversation with him, his dad, brother, and sons. During
