The project called Rail Yards, was proposed by Dakota Partners, a Massachusetts developer, and includes six residential buildings, a clubhouse and two commercial units. The site is on Langdon Ave, with the railroad and South Main Street serving as borders. The two commercial units, which do not have a proposed tenant yet, would sit closer to South Main Street, while the six residential buildings and the clubhouse will surround a green space father back from the road.

Zahid Rashid, 48, of Station Road, Beaconsfield, in Buckinghamshire, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A, Class B and possession of Class C drugs and was sentenced at Norwich Crown Court on December 15.

Zahid Rashid A drug dealer who lived a lavish lifestyle and owned a pristine Harley Davidson motorbike has been jailed. Zahid Rashid, of Station Road in Beaconsfield, was arrested in Acle in Norfolk on Christmas Eve in 2019 when police stopped a VW that had been linked to the supply of drugs. As officers searched the vehicle, Rashid, 48, admitted: Ok guys, hands up, drugs and money. He was then arrested. When police searched his car, they found cash and a mobile phone. They also found a rucksack containing blister packs of prescription drugs and multiple envelopes containing cocaine wraps of various weights, a bucket of loose flowering head cannabis and drug paraphernalia.
