It s a little-understood problem that Land O Lakes Foodservice, a business unit of Land O Lakes, Inc., is helping the restaurant industry confront head-on. Last winter, the company donated $50,000 to the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) to help train the next generation of restaurant employees and enable them to further their careers. But now they want to do more through a new program called Tip Jar.
Here s how Tip Jar works: During the month of June, consumers can dine in or take out at their favorite restaurants, leave a tip, then go online to log their tip and be entered for a chance to win a $100 gift card.
