They say exactly a week ago ferrufino tried to launch this molotov cocktail through the homes front bay window. Instead it fell to the ground and didnt ignite. The homeowner did face the defendant but was not able to identify him at the time. Police were called after an intense search of the area. They were not able to locate the defendant. Reporter this the girls father chased after ferrufino as he fled the scene and was able to give police a description of him. After a foot pursuit officers apprehended the defendant on west call avenue. Police say after that november 17th incident, they installed inside the familys home a sort of panic alarm which would allow the family to press an alarm and that call would go right to 911. Thats what they had to do here this morning. Ferrufino is facing arson charges but those charges could be upgraded because the home was occupied at the time.
