Berlin - Der Deutsche Tierschutzbund schlägt angesichts zunehmend überlaufener Tierheime Alarm. Unüberlegt online, aber auch im Zoofachhandel oder beim Züchter gekaufte Tiere landen nun bereits in einigen Fällen als Abgabetiere in den Tierheimen. Manche Tierheime mussten sogar schon einen Aufnahmestopp verhängen, weil die Kapazitäten erschöpft sind. Die Sorge, vor dem, was noch kommt, treibt alle Tierheime um , sagte der Präsident des Deutschen Tierschutzbundes, Thomas Schröder, der Rheinischen Post (Mittwoch).
