Was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. The southbound lanes at first colonial road were closed while the crash was investigated, but have since opened. Friends family and fellow officers got together to remember a Prince William county Police Officer killed on her first day on patrol. The vigil was held in woodbridge last night for officer ashley guindon. Guindon and two other officers were responding to a domestic dispute saturday night when they were shot. Guindon, a 6 year Marine Corp Reservist and previous intern with the police department. Was just sworn in friday. The two other officers who were shot are still in the hospital. The suspect charged with shooting them 32 year old Ronald Hamilton is an active Duty Army Staff Sergeant assigned to the pentnton. He will make his First Court Appearance later this morning.
