Tonight she s trying to get out the vote with an event at Lake Taylor High School in norfolk. That s where Brendan Ponton is joining us live with more. We re expecting clinton at around 8 tonight. She held a similar rally in Northern Virginia earlier and should be on her way here. We talked with some people who started lining up hours ago to wait and see clinton. Tomorrow virginians will head to the poll for super tuesday and newscannel three the state board of elections says you do not have to be affiliated with one particular party to vote. Two children hit by a car in norfolk today. Police tell us the boys were seven and nine years old. They were taken to the hospital and should be okay. The car was making a left turn to go south on chesapeake boulevard when it hit the children in the crosswalk. The man driving the car was cited for failing to yield the right of way, driving on a suspended license, and having no insurance. In Virginia Beach Erica Greenway news channel 3. Police in portsmouth are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital. When they arrived at meander road and broad street they found one man shot in the arm. He was taken to the hospital but is expected to be okay. Hampton police have arrested a man in connection with a stabbing over the weekend. 35 year old Terry Blackwell is charged with one count of felonious assault and maiming. Police say they got a call to a stabbing on west queen street near Settlers Landing road. They say blackwell pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed a 58 year old man in the back during an argument. Police say the victim was taken to the hospital and should make a full recovery. The Virginia Beach Police Department is taking action because they say too many people are dying because of heroin.
