hello, everyone. welcome to 11 news saturday morning. i m lisa robinson. and i m kate amara live at the starting line. the 11th annual under armour baltimore marathon. this will be a record breaker today. 25,000 people have signed up to run the race. some 30,000 friends and family will turn out to cheer them on. they all have one big question the weather and the wind. for that we turn to tony pann. yeah, if there will are any weather issues today, it will be the wind. right now it is not that bad. we have a light southwest wind. the winds may be gusting over 20 miles per hour between clock and 10 between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. a.m. do they let you run with the wind? i think it depends where you are in the race. let s go out to kate. kate, you know you have covered these marathons year after year. you know, the wind will be a huge factor for the runners. notice the wind picking up when i put my hat on. the marathon is 26.2 miles long. the gun goes off for the 5,

hello everyone i m vic carter. and i m denise koch. here is what people are talking about tonight. the heat returns. another round of record temperatures is expected. we just got off the phone with baltimore city schools and they re on a half day tomorrow. baltimore county schools will close two hours early. the heat has already turned deadly, kelly mcpherson has the story. reporter: two people have died today because of the heat and extreme heat we ve had in the last ten days. think back to a week ago when it was too hot schools closed early. a student and teacher had to be treated for heat elated injuries. it s happened again. a cecil county man and an anne arundel county woman both over 65. we see it often times when we get early in the season before people are used to the heat, we find people aren t really thinking about the fact they need to check in on their neighbors and the elderly to make sure they re okay. in 2009, six people died and last year 32. last we
