A Police Officer is conscious but in Critical Condition after being shot with a bullet grazing his head. This started around 8 15 last night at Everglade Drive and sloat boulevard on the western edge of the city. After an hourlong manhunt, it ended in a shootout near stern grove park. 27th avenue and vicente avenue. The Police Department said the suspect is mentally ill.
